Our mission is to promote the mental health and well-being of youth, families and the larger Glen Ellyn community through the provision of professional counseling services and community based support and education.
We are available to the Glen Ellyn public schools for case consultation and support. Strong linkages with local schools are an imperative for GEYFCS. The director attends weekly meetings at Glenbard West and Glenbard South High Schools. This enhances the referral, coordination of services and follow up processes.
Referral and Advocacy
Our staff advocates for youth and their families presenting with unmet critical needs by providing linkage information and assistance to local resources. In some instances, staff will recommend and refer to outside resources.
We believe that successful community programs are a combination of maintaining a strong and active presence in the larger community while offering direct service that respects the needs of each individual and family.
Thank you to Our Donors
We are able to provide services because of an active volunteer Board of Directors, which oversees the operation and raises funds. We are beyond grateful to our many individual donors. And a special thank you to the Village of Glen Ellyn for their continued support.
